Sport: Fiji FA official passes away

The Senior Vice President of the Fiji Football Association, Sheik Mohammed Ibrahim, has passed away following a battle with kidney disease.

The 67 year old served on the Fiji FA board for more than 30 years and was appointed as Senior Vice-President in 2011.

Ibrahim also served as the Fiji Primary Schools Soccer Association and Labasa Football Association President.

He was Acting President of the Fiji FA in 2011.

Oceania Football Confederation President David Chung offered their condolences and says Ibrahim will be remembered as a highly competent professional and as a proud Fijian.
