Tonga and Thailand have discussed potential areas of cooperation in tourism and agriculture during a meeting in Australia to strengthen diplomatic relations.
Princess Latufuipeka Tuku'aho, Tonga's High Commissioner to Australia and accredited Ambassador to the Kingdom of Thailand, hosted Suchada Thaibuthao, the Director-General of Thailand's International Development Cooperation Agency and delegation.
Matangi Tonga reports they are expected to visit Nuku'alofa before the end of the year.
International training courses offered annually under the Royal Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs are available for Tongans to apply for.
