A 21-strong PNG Kumuls squad has been announced to take on the Australian Prime Ministers 13 in Kokopo next month.

The PNG Hunters are the chief contributors with 16 of their squad making the cut, while former Hunters reps Wellington Albert and Mark Mexico are among the overseas contingent.

Intrust Super Cup Player of the Year Luke Page from the Canberra Raiders and Souths Logan Magpies has also been named in the team and will join the squad in Kokopo once visa requirements are met.

Wellington Albert is awaiting a final clearance from his surgeon before joining the squad, while Mexico will link up with the team on Sunday and Rhys Martin once his commitments with the Sydney Roosters are complete.

James Segeyaro, Ray Thompson, Nene McDonald and Jayden Hodges are unavailable for selection, Alex Johnson is likely expected to line up against PNG for Australia and David Mead and Rod Griffin are both getting married in October.
