Sport: PNG, EAP cricketers lose again

Papua New Guinea's cricketers have been beaten in their one-off clash with the United Arab Emirates in Darwin.

The Barramundi's posted a competitive 267 from their 50 overs with Tony Ura top-scoring with 73.

Swapnil Patil and Saqib Ali guided the UAE to their victory target with seven wickets and 10 balls to spare, in an unbroken stand of 147 runs.

Meanwhile East Asia Pacific suffered another loss in the Top End Carnival.

The composite side were dismissed for 111 in their one-day clash with the Australia Indigenous team, who raced to their target with six wickets and more than 25 overs remaining.
