Four people have been killed in a plane crash in Papua New Guinea.

The Hevilift Twin Otter aircraft came down near the capital with nine people on board.

The two pilots and one passenger were killed in the crash.

Another passenger reportedly died later.

The remaining passengers are being treated at a Port Moresby hospital.

The chartered flight was travelling from Woitape to Port Moresby when it crashed.
