Hawaii news media is reporting that a patient at a Honolulu hospital is being treated in isolation, citing a heightened sense of awareness of Ebola.

Queen's Medical Center in Honolulu confirmed to Pacific Daily News that the patient is in isolation, but the person's clinical presentation does not appear to be consistent with Ebola.

In a statement, the hospital said the patient may be diagnosed with a number of conditions other than Ebola.

However the hospital says it is taking precautionary measures and has placed the patient in isolation.
