A proposed shark and stingray marine park in the Northern Marianas has taken a step closer to reality after the legislature approved its submerged lands lease agreement with the Department of Lands and Natural Resources.
The company proposing the park, Sea Touch, says the proposed 1-point-124 million US dollar park would be up and running within six months of the deal being approved by the territory's Senate and would employ up to 20 people.
