A high-level mission from the International Labour Organisation has returned to Fiji to look at the situation for workers in the country.
The mission is investigating claims of violations of workers rights following complaints laid by the Fiji Trades Union Congress.
It is led by Abdul Koroma who is a judge at the International Court of Justice in The Hague and a member of the ILO's Committee of Experts on the Application of Conventions and Recommendations.
He headed the last mission to the country just over two years ago which unionists say was ordered to leave.
The ILO's representative in the Pacific, David Lamotte, says the group is meeting government ministers, employers organisations and unions and is in the country until Saturday.
