Samoan football champions Lupe Ole Soaga could confirm their place in the Oceania Champions League main draw this evening, if results go their way.
The home side won their opening match of the Preliminary tournament in Apia on Tuesday, beating Tonga's Lotoha'apai United.
A win against Puaikura FC would give Lupe a maximum six points with one round remaining, five clear of the Cook Islands champions, while a draw in the earlier game between Lotoha'apai and FC Samoan Korean Baptist Church from American Samoa would mean no other team would be able to overtake them.
The overall Preliminary winner will join 11 other Oceania clubs in the O-League main draw in Fiji in April.
