Papua New Guinea's Department of Justice says it will start appraising senior managers in an effort to make them more accountable for their actions.
The National newspaper reports the Department and the Attorney-General will implement the new appraisal process before the end of the year.
The Department's secretary Dr Lawrence Kalinoe says the performance of the secretary, three deputies, branch heads and senior managers will be assessed to try and tackle complacency issues.
