Polling has closed in American Samoa's general elections.
Voters are choosing members of the House of Representatives, a delegate to the US Congress and vote in a referendum on whether to give the legislature the power to override the governor's veto of legislation.
Early indications from absentee voting are that Aumua Amata is leading the incumbent Faleomavaega Eni Hunkin in the congressional election.
