This year's theme is 'Partnering for Prevention Makes Common Cents'.
Health Department director Motusa Tuileama Nua says the summit will cover issues relating to both non-communicable disease and communicable diseases.
Some specific topics of discussions will include partnering with media to promote health and evidence-based projects conducted in American Samoa and Samoa.
Motusa says he hopes that by the end of this event the participants will have put forward smarter goals and better solutions for both American Samoa and Samoa.
