Vanuatu tourism arrivals have declined this year after a record 2013.
So far 2014 air arrivals are 5.9 percent, down from the same period last year and cruise ship arrivals are have seen a 9.6 percent decrease.
The statistics also reveal that although Australia still remains Vanuatu's main source of tourists at over 56 percent, New Zealand's market share has reached a record high at 16.3 percent.
New Caledonia is the third largest market for Vanuatu tourism.
