A Tongan election candidate has been disqualified because he did not live in the constituency in which he is standing.
Toma Vilanova Tu'ipulotu, who was standing in Tongatapu No 9, was disqualified after a complaint was made to the Electoral Commission.
Radio Tonga reports that Mr Tu'ipulotu resides at Tongatapu constituency No 4 and so is breaking the law.
There are now 105 candidates contesting the election on Thursday.
