FBC News says the Suva water and wastewater trunk lines have been severely impacted by the heavy rain.

The Authority says the main wastewater trunk line that carries all untreated waste from the greater Suva area to the Kinoya Waste Treatment Plant has collapsed due to severe weather.

The Authority says the wastewater is now being discharged directly into the Cunningham Creek at the four-miles bridge and is flowing into Laucala Bay area.

The death toll from the flooding has been put at two.
