The Papua New Guinea cricketers resume the defence of their South Australian Premier League T20 title on Friday.
The Barramundi's won their opening two matches and take on the Northern Mavericks to determine who finishes top of Pool A, with Eastern Edge and Northern Territory vying for the second spot in Pool B.
Opening batsmen Lega Siaka, who this week signed a contract with the Melbourne Renegades Big Bash team, believes their opposition have lifted their game since last year.
"The boys are looking forward to that. We are defending the title so we have to work hard to defend the title again. I think it's a bit different this year. We had our first game against [South Australia Country]. They've got some good batsmen and good bowlers as well so it's nothing like last year so I think the boys they spoke about their players and they've been doing some changes for their team so we have to work hard for that."
Both the semi finals and championship match for the Twenty20 Cup will be played on Saturday.
