Push to have Vanuatu minister sacked

7:33 am on 16 December 2014

Three opposition MPs in Vanuatu claim the Minister of Sport and Youth, Don Ken, is paying two prisoners as his political advisers and should be sacked.

MPs Christophe Emelee, Robert Bohn and Jean Yves Chabod have written to the prime minister, Joe Natuman, calling on him to sack Mr Ken.

Our correspondent reports they have also acccused Mr Ken of paying his son as a private adviser while his son is studying in the Philippines.
