Manu Samoa midfielder Rey Lee-Lo says he's been fortunate to rub shoulders with a number of top players in his position, that have helped him to grow his own game.
The 28 year old is preparing for his final Super Rugby campaign with the Hurricanes before making the move to Cardiff at the end of the year.
He will have to contend with Ma'a Nonu and Conrad Smith for game-time this season, and could find himself coming up against his teammates when the All Blacks face Samoa in June.
Lee-Lo, who made his test debut against Canada in November, says he's also benefited from a number of other midfield exponents and hopes he can show what he's got and help the Hurricanes win a maiden title.
"I'm the lucky one. Every team I go to has someone that has been there [and] done it. I went down to the Crusaders and [assistant coach and former All Black] Aaron Mauger was there, [then I] went back home to Counties under the big man Tana [Umaga]. I will be available right from the start [of the Super Rugby season] so I'm ready to go now. Most of the boys are leaving [at the end of the year] so all the boys are up for it".
