Samoa's Public Service Commission is investigating allegations of forgery against the Ministry of Justice's chief executive.

This comes after the name of a district court judge was allegedly used illegally in a court adoption document.
The Public Service Commission head, Naea Beth Onesemo Tuila'epa, says the allegation is new and was not part of the commission's recent inquiry against the ministry's CEO, Masinalupe Tusipa Masinalupe.
She says on that occasion the CEO was investigated over complaints relating to the performance of his duties.
The cabinet's decision on that inquiry is expected next week.
Meanwhile the Public Service Commission's Naea Beth Onesemo Tuila'epa says the latest allegation is of deep concern to the commission because it questions the credibility of the Ministry of Justice.
