Two arrested for American Samoa drive-by shooting

Two men have been arrrested and charged over the shooting of a police station in American Samoa last November.

Manu Lefatia and Tuliese Taliu appeared in court on Friday under a heavy police presence, along with an FBI agent who has been working with local police to investigate the case.

The pair are accused of firing four rounds from a gun at the Leone police substation in a drive by shooting on the 1st of November.

Lefatia has been charged with two counts of second-degree assault and property damage in the first degree, and causing damage to property worth more than one thousand dollars.

Taliu is accused of conspiring with Lefatia to commit two counts of second degree assault and property damage.
