Fijian golfer Sam Lee tees off at the New Zealand Open on Thursday afternoon, still searching for his first pay-cheque as a professional.
The 24 year old missed the cut at last week's New Zealand PGA Championship in Auckland, after rounds of three under par and three over par, in his debut event as a professional.
A mainly fine day with light winds is forecast for day one at the million dollar event, which is being played at the Hills and Millbrook courses in Arrowtown.
