Sport: Argentina win World Rugby Pacific Challenge

Argentina beat Fiji Warriors for the second time in as many weeks to win the inaugural World Rugby Pacific Challenge final in Suva on Monday.

The Pampas XV scored the only two tries in the match in the 17-9 win.

The parents of Warriors prop Iosefo Bele Tabalala received their son's number one jersey that has been retired for this match, following his sudden death at the weekend.

One minutes silence was also held before kickoff, in memory of Iosefo.

Canada A finished third after pipping Samoa A 28-26 and Tonga A thrashed Junior Japan 43-24 in the fifth place playoff.

Meanwhile the Fiji Under 20s have been beaten 27-17 by Queensland in the first match at the

Australian National Under 20s Championship in Canberra.
