The main hospital in the Northern Marianas needs to fill 30 nurse positions.
The Commonwealth Health Centre says it currently has a staff of 157 nurses but requires a minimum of 187.
The hospital says it is processing eleven applications at the moment.
It says there are continuing challenges in recruiting nurses.
The centre's staff of 30 physicians is down by three since last July.
