Tahiti has made it into the Guinness Book of Records with the largest band of ukulele players in the World.
4750 participants gathered in Papeete at the weekend to play in the International Festival 'ukulele.
The Festival was launched by the Minister of Culture, Heremoana Maamaatuaiahutapu and included French Polynesia's president Edourd Fritch alongside 50 other politicians who joined in to play.
The participants played the song 'Bora Bora e' together in harmony for at least five minutes in order to meet Guinness record standards.
Mr Maamaatuaiahutapu says they aimed to have 3000 participants in order to beat the previous record of 2370 participants set in Britain last July.
Almost 6,000 people from across the territory turned up.
"It was a really big big surprise for everybody to see all those people coming from very far islands to participate in this world record. So it was a very huge, huge moment," he said.
