NZ Defence Force wraps up Vanuatu mission

The Prime Minister of Vanuatu has personally thanked the New Zealand High Commissioner to Vanuatu and the NZ response team which has wrapped its relief effort following Cyclone Pam.

The Prime Minister of Vanuatu has thanked the New Zealand High Commissioner to Vanuatu and the New Zealand response team which has finished its relief work after Cyclone Pam.

Joe Natuman congratulated the New Zealand Defence Force on a job well done for its work on the islands of Epi, Tongoa and the Shepherds group.

And the New Zealand High Commissioner, Georgina Roberts and Joint Force Commander Lieutenant Colonel Paul Hayward said they felt humbled by and extended their gratitude to the victims of the cyclone for pitching in and helping them achieve so much in the time they had in the country.
