The Cook Islands have been outclassed 9-1 by Australia in the men's 30s final at the Touch World Cup in Coffs Harbour.

The Cook Islands have been outclassed 9-1 by Australia in the men's 30s final at the Touch World Cup in Coffs Harbour.

Playing in the first final in their history, Nicholas Rangi crossed for the Pacific side's only try of the match.

Papua New Guinea claimed bronze in the men's 30s and the men's and mixed open grades, with Fiji sixth and Samoa seventh in the open men's and Samoa fifth in the mixed open.

Australia dominated the World Champs on home soil, winning the men's and women's open titles, along with the men's 50's, 40's, women's 27's, Senior mixed and Mixed Open grades.
