Sport: Flying Fijians to play Maori All Blacks

11:44 am on 13 May 2015

The Flying Fijians will host the Maori All Blacks in Suva as part of their build-up to the Rugby World Cup.

The two sides first met in 1938 and have played each other 28 times since, with the Maori winning their last encounter 11-7 in Lautoka seven years ago, in the Pacific Nations Cup.

The test on July the 12th will be Fiji's first of 2015.

It comes three days after the historic Test in Apia between the All Blacks and Manu Samoa, and six days before Fiji's first Pacific Nations Cup clash against Tonga.

Fiji are in the so-called pool of death at the World Cup, alongside Australia, Wales and hosts England.
