Glasgow Warriors have signed Fijian winger Taqele Naiyaravoro from Super Rugby champions New South Wales Waratahs on a three-year deal.

The former Wests Tigers rugby league player can play on the wing or at centre and has notched six tries in 15 appearances since joining the club last year.

The 23 year remains uncapped at international level and could eventually play for Scotland if he stays long enough to qualify through residency rules.

But at the weekend Naiyaravoro said he would ditch his deal with the Scottish Rugby Union if he is capped by the Wallabies this year.
