The US Coastguard says the mostly Indonesian crew of the Seahawk 88 escaped with only cuts and scratches.
The Taiwanese flagged vessel which ran aground on Friday, has nearly 4-thousand litres of fuel on board.
Salvage crews are assessing the boat and trying to find the best way to deal with the fuel.
