Sport: PNG Hunters make it eight in a row

The Papua New Guinea Hunters have beaten Tweed Heads 32-24 to extend their winning streak in the Queensland Cup rugby league competition to eight games.

The Hunters made it four straight wins away from home to climb to above Wynnum Manly into third place after 15 rounds.

The visitors led 14-10 at halftime and scored three tries in each half.

The two teams above the Hunters on the table, Townsville and Ipswich, also maintained winning ways, against Northern Pride and Central Queensland Capras respectively.
