Papua New Guinea have begun preparations for the World Twenty20 Cricket Qualifiers with a win and a loss against English county side Worcestershire in England.
In the first match, Kila Pala top scored with 36 runs for the Barramundi's in their total of 132.
Norman Vanua picked up 3/22 with the ball and Mahura Dai also grabbed two wickets as the home side came up three runs short.
PNG again batted first in the second match with Assad Vala's 46 helping the Barramundi's through to 129 for 7.
Vala also grabbed two wickets with the ball but Alexei Kervezee's unbeaten 71 got the home side comfortably to their target with seven wickets to spare.
PNG's first World Twenty20 qualifying match is against Jersey next weekend.
