The Ministry of Tourism has confirmed that overseas visitors to this year's coronation have more than tripled from the last coronation event in 2008.
Prime Minister 'Akilisi Pohiva says he's pleased by the overseas support.
"You know the great support that has been shown by our Tongan people overseas and our friends from overseas is a clear indication of the support that has been given to the coronation of his Majesty."
The 11 day celebrations for the coronation will officially end on Tuesday with a Military Tattoo performance.
