Among the international Royal guests attending, include the Crown Prince and Princess of Japan as well as Royal members from Hungary.

The Ministry of Tourism has confirmed that overseas visitors to this year's coronation have more than tripled from the last coronation event in 2008.

"You know the great support that has been shown by our Tongan people overseas and our friends from overseas is a clear indication of the support that has been given to the coronation of his Majesty."
