1:41 pm on 16 July 2015

A mother of four has been given a warning to send her children to school or face a harsher sentence.

The woman was convicted under a law enforcing compulsory education brought in in 2009, for failing her duty as a mother.

Two of her children were seen selling goods on the streets during school hours.

The court ordered the woman to send her children to school or face harsher punishment the next time she appears in court.

Since the law came in four sets of parents have been charged.
