Sport: PNG Hunters recall pair for Jets clash

The Papua New Guinea Hunters have recalled Ase Boas and Edward Goma for Saturday's Queensland Cup rugby league clash away to the Ipswich Jets, where the visitors have a chance of stretching their unbeaten run to 13 matches.

The Hunters prevailed 40-28 when the teams last met in Round 13.

The third-placed Jets are fresh from the bye and trail the Hunters by three points with four rounds of the regular season remaining.

Three points separate the teams in second and third with the Hunters looking to extend their 13 game unbeaten run.

Papua New Guineans Rod Griffin and Richard Pandia are expected to line up for the Jets against their countrymen.
