Sport: Flying Fijians focused on task at hand as World Cup nears

Flying Fijians coach John McKee says his team has a clear vision of how they want to play heading into the Rugby World Cup.

McKee confirmed his 31-man squad last week, featuring 14 players who represented Fiji at the 2011 tournament.

He says the current team is focused on the job in front of them and has a good mix of youth and experience.

"Certainly experience is important and those players who were there last time but also we've had the core of this team, really since I've been charge, on all the assemblies so this is really our fourth campaign now. That's important going forward, that we're really developing our game every assembly and everyone is quite clear now on the way we need to play the game. It's actually good to have hard choices to make because it means we've got some good depth. You can't select everyone you want - sometimes you wish you could take 32 or 33 to try to get everybody in - but you have to draw the line".

Fiji is in camp for one more week before flying out to the UK, where they take on Canada in a warm-up clash before opening the tournament against England.
