Five more drug related arrests in Samoa

In Samoa, five more people have been arrested by the police after a drug raid at Ululoloa village on the outskirts of Apia.

A quantity of methamphetamine and some cannabis was allegedly found in the raid..

It is the third such raid carried out by Samoa police in three weeks.

The police say investigations are determining whether there is any link between the latest group and four people arrested in a raid at Afiamalu.

Meanwhile four men arrested after a raid at Faleatiu village will appear in court next Monday on charges of possessing and cultivating narcotics.
