Work is underway in the Northern Marianas on a resort that will feature a replica of the Titanic.
An international design company, YWS Design & Architecture, has been hired by Bridge Investment Group to build the Tinian Ocean View Resort on Tinian Island.
The international design firm will work on a master plan for the $US150 million dollar themed resort.
Bridge Investment has been granted a conditional gaming licence and plans to build a resort that will take visitors back to the early 20th century with its Titanic replica hotel and luxury accommodation.
The resort is planned to be developed in two phases, starting with the hotel and casino and then expanding into an adjoining Titanic replica that will sit on Tinian harbour.
