New Zealand's Foreign Minister Murray McCully will lead a delegation to Niue this week to attend the First World War commemorations.

In October 1915, 150 men from Niue left to join the New Zealand expeditionary force to fight in Europe.
Three Niuean soldiers will now be included in the New Zealand Roll of Honour and Commonwealth War Graves Commission records.
Privates Alotau, Mitipauni and Muimatagi died after they returned to Niue, from illnesses contracted while serving with the NZDF.
Murray McCully says his visit is an opportunity to commemorate their sacrifice, unveil a New Zealand Cenotaph in Alofi, and take part in other events to commemorate Niue's contribution.
While in Niue Mr McCully will also visit a range of New Zealand Aid funded projects which focus on tourism and economic development.
