Papua New Guinea's hopes of a third straight appearance at the Under 19 Cricket World Cup are over following another defeat in qualifying.

The Garamuts were bowled out for just 83 runs against Uganda, who cruised to their target inside 14 overs, for the loss of just one wicket.

PNG suffered earlier losses against Nepal and Ireland in Malaysia, and are bottom of their group, but unable to qualify for the final.

Their final pool match is against the USA on Wednesday.
