People with respiratory issues are being advised to limit their time outdoors as a thick haze from wildfires across Indonesia and Papua New Guinea is spreading throughout the Northern Marianas.
The National Weather Service in Guam says the haze is being brought to the region by southwest winds across western Micronesia.
It says the haze is expected to continue through till midweek at least and is reducing visibility for motorists.
