The Pacific Community's strategic plan for the next five years has been endorsed by the agency's governing body meeting in Niue.
The SPC's director general, Dr Colin Tukuitonga, says he is pleased with the confidence the Committee of Representatives of Government and Administration has in the plan through to 2020 and the organisation's budget.
From tomorrow the week long meeting will focus on the theme chosen by Niue "Turning the tide, reducing vulnerability and building resilience."
Dr Tukuitonga says later in the week they will discuss youth issues and hear from the UN Envoy for Youth.
He says they want movement on some concerns like youth employment, empowerment, participation, health, social issues, well-being and mental health.
