New dengue cases in Hawaii

Health officials have confirmed seven new cases of dengue fever in Hawaii, bringing the total to 56.

The cases include 15 children and 10 tourists.

The Health Department is asking residents to take precautions to prevent the spread of the mosquito-borne virus, including getting rid of standing water and wearing insect repellent.

Officials say the outbreak started in September.
