VBTC's General Manager, Fred Vurobaravu, says his management team is confident the partnership project is what his corporation needs to be able to become financially sustainable.

Mr Vurobaravu says VBTC has not reached the entire country due to lack of capacity as it has a 500-watt transmitter system.

But Mr Vurobaravu says the Chinese company has assured him the system will be modernised to increase its capacity to 3,000 watt.

It means that television and radio will be able to reach every household in the country and even be accessible on the mobile phone.
