Sport: French rugby club has Fiji star in sights

The French rugby club Montpellier has been linked with a move for Fiji star Nemani Nadolo.

Nadolo, who was a finalist for the Pacific Player of the year award, impressed in the recent world cup tournament in England and also turned out for the Barbarians this month.

The French newspaper Midi Libre reports that Nadolo, who has played 23 tests for Fiji on the wing or in the centres, is close to signing a deal with Montpellier.

Nadolo is currently preparing for the upcoming Super Rugby season with the Crusaders.

The Jake White coached French club is also looking to sign South African back Francois Steyn and Wallaby Joe Tomane from the Brumbies.
