The Northern Marianas' main airport hub is back to normal operations after electricians were able to repair the lights on the runway and part of the taxiway.

Operations at Saipan International Airport had been restricted to day flights since the weekend after a fire had damaged wiring controlling the lights.
The Commonwealth Ports Authority was able to make the repairs with the help of a team of electricians from the Guam International Airport Authority.
