Israeli volunteers arrive to help Fiji rebuild

The Israeli non-governmental organisation IsraAID has brought a delegation of volunteers to help in the rebuilding of homes after the devastation caused by Tropical Cyclone Winston.

Fiij VIllage reports IsraAID Founding Director, Shachar Zahavi, said Israeli engineers, water specialists, and trauma experts are building shelters and distributing supplies including water and construction material, to Vuma village in Ovalau.

Mr Zahavi said the relief team will stay in Fiji for a few months and will rebuild a model village with the Israeli Embassy.
