EMTV reports that he will be in the country for two days discussing regional issues with Commissioner Gari Baki.

Mr Baki says he will be pushing the idea for Fiji to take onboard a contingent from the PNG police to be part of international peacekeeping missions.

This week Mr Baki confirmed the suspension of leading members of PNGs national anti-fraud unit who are advancing a major fraud case which implicates the prime minister Peter O'Neill.

The suspension has been stayed by the court but a dangerous division has emerged within PNG's police force over the matter.

Fiji and PNG are members of the Melanesian Spearhead Group.
