Five people injured at Tahiti airport

Five people have been injured at Tahiti's international airport after a metal grill fell from the ceiling.

Four of the injured which included two Japanese tourists were taken to hospital.

The fasteners of the ventilation grill gave way as passengers were waiting to board an inter island flight at Tahiti-Faa'a Airport.

Other grills were immediately removed and an investigation has been opened into the incident.
