Papua New Guinea's prime minister has met with Cuba's president, where they discussed bilateral cooperation and relations, especially in sports and health.
Peter O'Neill and Raul Castro also discussed the international situation and climate change.
Mr O'Neill arrived in the Caribbean country after attending the Apec leaders' summit in Peru.
According to the newspaper, The National, he also expressed interest in engaging doctors from Cuba to work in PNG's public hospitals.
He also wants Cuban assistance to develop boxing in the country.
