Electrocution victim in American Samoa farewelled

The Futiga Methodist Church in American Samoa was packed today for the funeral Toeseinuupotopoto Tee Ume, one of the three workers at Manu'a Store who were electrocuted in an accident last month.

His mother Masina said after seeing the large crowd of relatives, co-workers, army reservists and friends who packed the church that her son was loved by so many.

A moving part of the program was the Army Reserve Bravo company roll call, when Sergeant Ume 's name was called four times and there was silence with each announcement.

From the church pall bearers wheeled the flag draped coffin of the 23 year old to his grave nearby.
